Welcome to Whispering Pines Hideaway, a beautifully renovated A-Frame home set in the peaceful Brier Crest community close to Lake Harmony and Big Boulder. This inviting retreat combines rustic charm with contemporary amenities, perfect for couples or small family getaways.

Whispering Pines Hideaway offers two inviting bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms, ensuring both comfort and privacy for all guests. The home’s interiors have been thoughtfully updated to reflect a contemporary yet rustic lifestyle, providing a comfortable and stylish stay.

Entertainment:
Indoors, the home features three TVs, allowing guests to enjoy their favorite shows and movies in any room. For a touch of nostalgia, challenge your family or friends to a game on our vintage Pac-man arcade machine. Outdoors, the newly installed fire-pit area is a perfect spot for evening gatherings, roasting marshmallows, or simply enjoying a warm fire under the stars.

Guest Access

- ⚫Entering our home for your stay is a very easy and seamless process, we have our own Schlage encode lock on the front door which is an electronic lock and will allow you to enter into the home seamlessly after entering the code by following our check-in instructions.
- ⚫You’ll receive our automated check-in instructions 📩 24 hours before your arrival, so everything you need will be ready ahead of time for a smooth and easy check-in!
- ⚫Our homes use electronic door locks 🔐 for your convenience. A door code will be sent to you automatically ⏰ 2 hours before check-in time, unless you’re checking in earlier.
- ⚫When it’s time to head out, we’ve got you covered too! 🧼🕒 Our checkout instructions will be sent a day before your departure, you'll receive them at 2:00 PM the day before your checkout.

Nearby Lake Harmony and Big Boulder Lake offer fantastic opportunities for water activities during the warmer months. Other things to note

Important House & HOA Rules:

Quiet Hours: Quiet time in the community is between 11:00 P.M. and 8:00 A.M. No warnings will be issued during these hours. Please be courteous regarding noise at all times but especially after 11:00 P.M.
Fireworks: Fireworks are NEVER permitted in BCW. A $1000 fine will be charged if fireworks are lighten off at the home.
Car Tags: Car tags must always be displayed in the vehicle while in the BCW (Brier Crest Woods) Community. The tags should remain in the car until you leave the BCW property.
Wristbands: Wristbands must always be worn while utilizing all BCW amenities. DO NOT DISCARD. Please make sure that all wristbands are left at the property upon the end of your stay. If amenity wrist bands are lost or stolen while staying at our home there is a $10 replacement fee.
Pets: A strict leash law is enforced in the community. Pets are not permitted in the beach area, the swimming area or boat dock area. You are required to clean up after your pets when walking them.
Beach: Swimming is only permitted in the roped off area at the lake. The lake at Brier Crest Woods is swim at your own risk.
No kayaks or paddle boards are allowed to be used at our community's lake, but Lake Harmony is right down the road and allows for them.
We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills and/or fire pits, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay. If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement. Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank.
No Smoking within 25 feet of the property. There is a $500 fine for smoking in the unit.
Given our property's rural setting, you might occasionally notice small, non-harmful insects. Rest assured, we have comprehensive, year-round pest control measures in place and work hard to minimize these encounters. Thank you for your understanding, and please let us know if you have any concerns!
Friendly Note: 🐻 Since our home is tucked in nature, you may spot a black bear in the area from time to time. No worries - they’re generally well-behaved and prefer to keep their distance from people. As long as food and trash are secured, they’ll simply wander by and continue on their way.

Lost & Found Shipping Policy: If personal items are left behind, we’re happy to arrange return shipping 📦 — please note a $50 handling fee will apply for retrieval and coordination, separate from and in addition to all shipping and delivery costs 🚚 (shipping/delivery fees are not included in the $50 fee).

📌We strive to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Occasionally, if a previous guest hasn’t followed proper usage guidelines, we may need to drain, clean, and refill the hot tub before your stay for health and safety reasons 🧼🦠. If this happens, please note that it may take until the evening of your first night (or slightly longer, depending on the weather) for the water to fully heat back up 🔥🌙. We totally get that guests look forward to relaxing in the hot tub, and we only perform this maintenance when absolutely necessary to ensure a clean and safe experience for everyone 💧👍.

📌For transparency, please know that our hot tub is professionally serviced after every reservation, and our tech team sends us time-stamped photos once the cleaning and servicing is completed — we keep those photos on file to confirm it’s been properly cleaned and ready for each new guest. Lastly, if you request any additional hot tub cleaning/service during your stay (outside of our standard post-checkout service), it will come with an additional fee and will be billed to the guest.
